Keeping my eye on the best parts of life, I paint happy visions to have my best childhood ever. I’m over 60. It worked. It continues to help. Like a polyglot, switching languages as needed, I paint in the style that flows for me. Code-switching came with a childhood spent in the hyphen between “Mexican” and “American”.
