Red Easel Website Features Cristina

Red Easel, a artist website and blog has graciously featured Cristina's work in the monthly newsletter and hosted images in a Red Easel Gallery. Here's what Red Easel has to say about their site. Red Easel: A Studio Full of Artistic Inspiration was begun out of the necessity to find information for visual artists on the web without having hundreds of bookmarks to search through and a million pages in Google. Mary Susan Vaughn, a professional visual artist, has spent hours on her computer searching for framers, appraisers, artist information, art history, art instruction, art supplies, art books, artist organizations, workshops, art festivals, and the list goes on and on. It seemed as if every day she was searching for something relevant to visual artists. It became a daunting task. Inspired by a friend, Liz Sorenson, whose baby blog and business, The Daily Stroll, is extremely successful, Susan decided to start Red Easel, applying much of what she learned from her friend's business of babies and applying it to the art business. Her blog and Studio of Artistic Inspiration begins its journey in 2007 and she has high hopes for its creative future.

Continually growing and expanding its database of information for visual artists, Red Easel hopes to offer a wealth of information from artist directories that are categorized by name, state, and genre, to fine art critiques, book reviews, and where to find art instruction on the net. Also, we hope to build an excellent database of galleries in the United States categorized by state. Want to know where to purchase art supplies on the internet or in your area? We hope that you will find all the information you need right here, including comments from customers of these suppliers so you will be sure to shop at the best place and get the best deals.

If your state is looking for artists for festivals, or local competitions or exhibitions are looking for submissions, we want you to find it all out here - and easily too.
