My daughter Isabella and I helped out Elliot
Sawyer with this nutrition video. AntiNutri Funnel is a
sarcastic high Fructose corn syrup ad. At the beginning of the
clip I'm talking to my friend Judy
Shasek (she helps Elliot with projects like this) about
corn syrup. Elliot used this clip along with others to get a
grant to continue with his nutrition pieces.
Judy Shasek
is a vibrant, charismatic powerhouse of a woman. She heads her
national fitness/education project management company,
invenTEAM. Her commitment to the health and well-being of
youth are further demonstrated in her role as Executive
Director of the nonprofit Get Outta My Face. Bridging school to
community via an innovative service learning/wellness outreach,
Revive Nation, Shasek finds a way to motivate even the most
challenging learners.
Elliot Sawyer is a young film maker
with a message. He's out to get everybody healthy and
make them laugh at the same time. He produced and directed the
Anti-Nutri Funnel piece. He also acts in it along with Judy
Shasek, my daughter Isabella Barna and me. It was fun to act in
this piece. In real life we eat very little of the bad stuff.
